European states like to point fingers at authoritarian regimes across the globe, persecuting protest and political opposition. But all over Europe, a militarization of police can be seen. In the last years tanks, guns and grenades have been added to the inventory of law enforcement. Police is using weapons against the civilian population, that are banned for warfare under the Geneva convention. The most common victims: Those marginalized and those protesting against exploitation, racism and police brutality. The photos in this zine have been taken around demonstrations and protest in France, Germany, Greece, Italy and Spain, from 2015 to 2022. Edition: Two dummies (so far).
